Letters from Promotional Posters

I have been cleaning out cabinets and shelves like a madwoman at work. I went through our vast stash of posters to determined what needs to be saved, what can be given away, and what is useless at this point. In my stash were several rolls of promotional posters from conferences. They are soooo pretty, but fairly useless to me at this point. I have enough posters on my walls. I could give them away as prizes, but then I’d have to store them. I thought about making those cute banners of book covers that are on Pinterest. But I’m lazy and I’ll never get to it.
I put them in the trash.
And then changed my mind.
I needed letters for my Shelf Marker buckets and had been planning to color them with markers. Instead I cut the posters into 8 1/2 by 11 size so they would fit through the printer. I got fabulously patterned letters that look adorable!

Thanks Mrs. H! Blogging this month has kept me excited about the projects I’ve been doing. It feels less like work!
